Abstract

IR absorption spectroscopy was used to study kinetics of conformation transitions in crystallization of polyethylene terephthalate (PETP) in liquid medium. The effect of molecular interactions on molecular regrouping was evaluated. It was shown that a weakening of molecular interaction reduces the effective activation energy of conformation transitions.
