Abstract

Under general trend of green energy development, distributed generations, a grid energy provider, are playing an increasingly important role in distribution network. Due to randomness and uncertainty, large scale of distributed generation will impact the stability and reliability of distribution network. In this paper, the research focus on configuration of energy storage system for adapting the impact of distributed generation and producing benefits in operation of distribution network. By establishing mathematical model of distributed generation and energy storage system, it reasonably analyses feasibility of cooperation to improve stability and revenue. According to the data of daily operation, distributed generation has seasonal characteristics and a set of typical daily scenario in spring, summer, autumn and winter is clustered by scenario reduction method. Based on IEEE 33-bus distribution network, the optimal construction planning is solved based on objective function and constraints. The configuration of energy storage is different in four seasons. However, it is mostly closed to distributed generations to reduce their influences. Last, it summarizes the working of this paper and makes some prospects on future development of distribution network.
