Abstract
In this article I provide an overview of the Society for the Science of Motivation’s (SSM) annual conference. The daylong conference is arranged every year in the company of the Association for Psychological Science’s (APS) Annual Convention. Both events are held at the same location providing attendees with the opportunity to disseminate work, attend inspiring talks and network at two conferences (for the travel price of one!). This article will focus on the SSM conference, describing the talks and symposia I attended and my experience of poster presenting.
