Abstract

This article examines activities aimed at implementation and promotion of UNESCO’s fundamental documents in the field of regulation of artificial intelligence and, in particular, the “Recommendation on the Ethical Considerations of Artificial Intelligence” and other tools developed by this specialized agency of the United Nations. The article provides a detailed review of the conference “National experience in implementation of the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence”, which was organized on October 27, 2023 by the MGIMO Centre for Artificial intelligence with the support of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO and the Russian Committee of the UNESCO Information for All Program (IFAP).
