Abstract

The Article studies conditions for the onset of resonance oscillations of a T-joint of two beams. Natural oscillations were excited in beams, and the problem was to synchronize their dynamic parameters in the joint. To solve the problem, a model of natural oscillations free energy carrier, presented in a geometric form, was used. A brief description of this model is given. As a result, a diagram was made linking relative lateral strain, arising from bending oscillations, to geometrics of the T-joint. It was demonstrated that the diagram determines the level of conductivity of natural oscillations energy through a joint, and that the magnitude of this level determines efficiency of non-destructive fast testing of a structure with the use of excitation of natural oscillations. To this end, as an example, the Article offers results of experimental studies of special dismountable structures having a defective element in them.
