Abstract

The subject of this article is the use of radio frequency identification in production and logistics processes, as well as in the processes of wholesale and retail sales. This article analyzes the advantages and limitations of using existing types of RFID tags. Various types of materials and media are considered, the physical properties of which affect the efficiency and applicability of RF marking. Examples of practical application of RFID tags are given. The analysis carried out allows determining the field of application of radio frequency identification, as well as the types of goods that are advisable to be labelled by radio frequency tags. The challenges addressed by RFID reflect their practical relevance in manufacturing, supply and trade.
