Abstract
Introduction: Telerehabilitation uses telecommunications technology (telephone or teleconference) to provide rehabilitation services at a distance that replace or supplement face-to-face care. Clinical outcomes from exercise interventions are likely to be related to Implementation fidelity. Exercise fidelity (e.g. posture, tempo, resistance, pain response) is a fundamental aspect of exercise prescription by physiotherapists (PTs). However, the utility of evaluating exercise fidelity via telerehabiltiation has not been assessed. To bridge this knowledge gap, this study aims to evaluate the concurrent validity and inter-rater reliability of assessing exercise fidelity in Achilles tendinopathy (AT) rehabilitation via videoconference.
