Concurrent primary splenic lymphoma and mammary gland tumour with polycystic ovaries inadog.

Abstract

Here, wereport arare case ofconcurrent primary splenic lymphoma and mammary gland tumour (MGT) with polycystic ovaries ina10-year-old, intact female Jindo dog. The dog was presented with multiple masses inthe fourth left mammary gland, the largest ofwhich measured 6cm indiameter, along with enlargement ofthe left inguinal lymph node onphysical examination. Ultrasonography, radiography, and computed tomography scans revealed polycystic ovaries and amass inthe tail ofthe spleen, after total splenectomy and mastectomy with ovariohysterectomy, histopathological examination identified splenic diffuse large Bcell lymphoma and malignant myoepithelioma ofthe mammary gland was found. Toour knowledge, this isthe first report ofthe concurrent occurrence ofsplenic lymphoma, MGT, and polycystic ovaries inadog.
