Abstract

Concordat with Vatican, signed by Romania in 1927, was an important act for the Romano-Catholic Church. Through it, the Roman Catholic Church received numerous privileges over Romania. The Romanian Orthodox Church denounced this bilateral act. The consequences of the Concordat with the Vatican on the life of the Romanian society were many: religious, legal, political and economic. In this paper I will try to emphasize the economic consequences of this Concordat with Vatican.
