Conception and development of a community-based education initiative fostering sexual and reproductive health literacy among indigenous Tharu girls in rural Nepal

Abstract

1) Understand attitudes, resources, and knowledge gaps around sexual health in rural Nepal, including biopsychosocial elements. 2) Encourage community partnerships and shared decisions to create and deliver culturally - appropriate education programs. 3) Recruit local educators using “training of trainers” approaches, for sustainable expansion. 4) Assess program efficacy.
