Abstract

The intensity distribution of the (001)-reciprocal plane around the 220 reciprocal node was measured for a Ni-Ti (11.8 at.%) alloy aged at 580°C for 500 h. It could be shown that the mechanism of decomposition leads to concentration waves in 〈100〉-directions with an amplitude of 5.95 at.% Ti and a wavelength of 190 Å.
