Abstract
Este artículo presenta a través de hechos protagonizadas por las comunidades campesinas del departamento de Huancavelica, las luchas por la tierra durante el proceso de reforma agraria. La línea temporal sigue desde la constitución de la SAIS Huancavelica hasta 1980, año en que Sendero Luminoso irrumpe en la región, iniciando de este modo un nuevo capítulo en la historia de los Andes.
