Abstract

Abstract The DENSITRON 4M image analyzing system developed at the Central Institute for Isotope and Radiation Research Leipzig, was modified for the search, counting and measurement of tracks in SSNTD at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research Dubna. A microscope was completed by stepping motors for moving the x-, y- and z-coordinates. The control of the motors is done by the microcomputer of the DENSITRON 4M system. For track detector evaluation special subroutines were linked to the software.
