Abstract
Abstract This paper shows how Petri-nets can be used for the design of complex control systems. Particular emphasis is laid on the investigation of specific requirements of the system for which computer-aided tools will be presented. Methods of graph theory which can prove the lifeness of a Petri-net are the basis of the introduced methods of analysis.
