Abstract
Simulation of unsteady turbulent boundary layer flow with the effect of free-stream velocity is analyzed using a computer. Unsteady turbulent flow is in itself challenging. Problems of oscillation turbulent flows are very often encountered in practice in a variety of applications. Proper and direct modelling of the specific unsteady problem seems to be necessary. Outerflow velocity decreases with the increase of free-stream velocity and Reynolds number based on momentum thickness reaches a maximum and then decreases.
