Abstract
This paper studies the problem of morning commute with parking when shared parking spaces are used as a supplement out of not enough parking spots are provided by workplace. This paper studies the impact of shared parking pricing on users’ travel behavior based on the bottleneck model. And there are two categories in shared parking pricing: low-pricing strategy and high-pricing strategy, nine possible UE travel modes are analyzed and the key parameters are solved. On this basis, taking four different central parking lots as examples, the influence of shared parking pricing on the total social cost and queuing time of the system is analyzed. Some findings are: reducing the shared parking pricing is not desirable, which may lead to the waste of central parking space resources; in most sutiation of shortage of central parking spaces, the shared parking pricing adjusted to the high-pricing strategy of the travel mode O8,can not only minimize the cost of social travel but can alleviate road congestion; It is worth noting that in the sutiation of extreme shortage of central parking spaces, only the price of shared parking in travel model 4 can make the total social cost reach the minimum.
