Abstract
Periodicals selection is a complex subjective process that is difficult to accomplish and more difficult to explain. Librarians at the University of Evansville have developed a method of structuring and quantifying their selection process based upon local data through the use of an electronic spreadsheet. This method insures consistent treatment of each considered title and produces a ranked, replicable, defensible report.
