Abstract

In this paper, taking the W oilfield in the Russian Timan-Pechora Basin as an example, combining coring, seismic, logging, geological data, and various interpretation results to evaluate the reservoir in this area and establish a three-dimensional Geological model of the reservoir step by step. First, commencing from the logging data, carry out fine single-well identification and continuous well comparison, qualitatively and quantitatively identify reservoirs based on the geological conditions of the work area. Second, make synthetic seismic records to calibrate seismic horizons, and use seismic attributes to divide sedimentary facies Establish a study area structural model; finally, use the core analysis data and well interpretation results to establish a reservoir physical property interpretation model, and take the effective reservoir thickness and physical property interpretation results as importation to obtain a three-dimensional comprehensive attribute model of the reservoir. The modeling finally gives a three-dimensional comprehensive attribute model of reservoir lithofacies and physical properties, which can be used by reservoir engineering researchers to carry out numerical simulation research. The exploration and development situation of oil and gas fields in the basin is good. Finding stable and high-yield oil and gas reservoirs is still the next priority. Taking w oilfield as an example, based on the acquired oilfield data, this paper analyzes the reservoir oil and gas characteristics, and uses petrel software to build a three-dimensional geological model of the reservoir step by step, which provides strong support for the study of the exploration area and the next exploration and development work.KeywordsTiman–pechora basinZ oilfieldReservoir evaluation3D geological modelingOil and gas distributionRussia
