Abstract
During the process of oil and gas field exploration and development, a large amount of solid-liquid wastes will be produced, among which drilling waste mud is the main pollutant. If the drilling waste mud is discharged untreated or improperly treated, it will inevitably threaten the local environment and ecological safety, and environmental pollution will not be conducive to the sustainable development of the petroleum industry. At present, how to realize the reduction, harmless treatment and comprehensive utilization of drilling waste mud produced during oil and gas field exploration is a bottleneck restricting the high-quality development of oil and gas fields. This study mainly introduces the source, composition and environmental effects of oilfield drilling waste mud, summarizes the research status of oilfield drilling waste mud at home and abroad, analyzes the difficulties and prospects of related treatment technologies, and introduces the characteristics of drilling waste mud in Changqing Oilfield and the application status of reducing and harmless treatment technology.
