Abstract
The types of power generation mainly include thermal power, hydropower and wind power in China. However, thermal power generation has accounted for 75.2 percent of the total generation. In order to adjust the proportion of the energy supply and achieve energy saving, it is vital to investigate the comprehensive cost of different power generation types. The objects are thermal power, hydropower and wind power in this paper, and the calculation methods of unit power generation cost are presented respectively. The results show that the comprehensive cost of wind power is the highest, following by the thermal power and the hydropower. Keywords—Thermal power, Hydropower, Wind power, Comprehensive cost
