Abstract

Abstract A comparative study of thermal and elastic properties has been made on amorphous Se 1− x Ge x alloy by employing a dynamical treatment. It has been observed that all these properties show an increasing linear trend with the increase of germanium content in Se 1− x Ge x amorphous system and an excellent agreement with the experimental results. Further, the linear variation shows no anomaly in the elastic moduli–coordination number relation in the studied rigidity percolation threshold region ( m =2.4–2.6).
