Abstract

Convergent technological devices have had their expansion of use due to their utilitarian, hedonic and social characteristics, which are present in the different equipment of the present time, including those related to education. In this sense, the objective of this article is to analyze the intention of use and technological acceptance of the teachers of public schools in the North region, users of the " Smartboard ", for didactic purposes. The research presents as a quantitative study, type survey that aimed to explore the prediction of use of the device. The results show that previous experience, although it has influence, has not been demonstrated as a strong predictor of intention to use. On the other hand, the social factor proved to be a motivator of the hedonic use of technological equipment for educational purposes.
