Abstract
The mineral industry was one of the pioneers of Brazilian industrialization and presents live one of its better moments with high international demand of mineral commodities, in special the iron ore concentrates. The usual characteristic to all companies are: great installations, large use of chemicals, water, energy and natural resources. One of the challenges of the support is the optimization of the chemical´s products of all the stages of the production. The objective of the study is to examine the iron ore behavior front to different innovations in the collectors used in the stage of the reverse cationic flotation. The ore samples were obtained from the industrial processing plant. The studies had understood the evaluation of collecting different standard in use and the “taylor made” for each mine.
