Abstract

This paper deals with a number of problems that confront the designer involved in statistical circuit analysis. Special attention is given to the question of correlation between transistor parameters of the hybrid-π circuit. Some results from the bailiwick of communication theory are quoted concerning the uncertainty that may be associated with a density distribution, and can aid the designer in choosing a distribution, when the available information is small.
