Abstract

The article deals with the questions of creation of effective mechanisms for the identification and analysis of corruption-dangerous areas of activity at the enterprise, assessment and management of legal, material and financial risks in the event of corruption, ensuring comprehensive protection of an enterprise or organization from a wide range of legal, tax, economic, reputational, sanctions and other threats. The results of the conducted research show that the complicity of violations and, accordingly, compliance risks arises in the study of material, financial and technological processes at enterprises. When conducting such research, various private or corporate interests arise, the satisfaction of which can bring material, financial or image preferences to individual persons or groups. Naturally, it is precisely this sphere of economic activity of an industrial enterprise that abounds in compliance risks that need to be identified, identified, assessed and eliminated (reduced). An expert assessment of the level of compliance risk indicates that for Ukrainian industrial enterprises there is an increased compliance risk (4.89 points) for the development of corruption relations, fraud, money laundering, and corporate ethics violations. Moreover, the highest compliance risk is associated with a decline in the general economic situation in Ukraine due to the existence of a significant level of corruption, due to the unlawful lobbying of personal interests of individual persons or groups, as well as a significant decrease in the living standards of our country's population. The examination procedure is based on the use of the method of paired comparisons of objects, according to which all of them are compared in pairs with each other, and each subsequent assessment is not related to the previous one; All these paired assessments constitute a matrix of paired preferences, with special processing of which obtain numerical parameters of the object’s priority indicators for a particular enterprise. The method of paired comparisons implies each of the expert comparisons among themselves 120 pairs of risk factors and the choice among each pair of a more significant risk factor (or indicate their equivalent weight) deterioration of compliance safety of industrial enterprises. Thus, an expert method for assessing the level of compliance risk indicates that the domestic market is characterized by an increased compliance risk (4.89 points) of a decrease in its operating conditions. Moreover, the highest compliance risk is associated with a decrease in the general economic situation in Ukraine due to the existence of a significant level of corruption, due to unlawful lobbying for the personal interests of individuals or groups, and a significant decrease in the living standards of our population.
