Abstract
We lost a long-time member of and great contributor to the IEEE EMC Society when Ron Brewer passed away last year. I'm sure many of you remember visiting with Ron at the annual IEEE EMC Symposium. He attended regularly during his time as Vice President of Electromagnetic Compatibility Services for Instrument Specialties Co., Inc. and later when he was employed as a Consulting Systems Engineer in Launch Ser-vices at the Kennedy Space Center. After he retired in 2016 to form his own consulting company, he continued to attend the Symposium to visit with colleagues and check out the technical sessions. You could also find him “shopping” in the exhibit hall searching for the latest and greatest products. We are grateful to his good colleague, Gary Fenical, who provided the following information on the illustrious EMC career of Ron Brewer.
