Abstract
The network-induced delays and packet dropout influence the stability of networked control systems (NCS). This paper designs an agent-based networked control estimator at the controller unit to improve the performance of control system. The sensor node is time driven while the actuator and controller are both event and time driven. Considering the network-induced delay and packet dropout simultaneously, and assuming that the delays are less than one sampling period the networked control system is modeled as an asynchronous dynamical system (ADS) with rate constraint on two events. Using the bilinear matrix inequality (BMI) method, the stability of the NCS is discussed. The BMI method together with the simulation results prove that the designed estimation approach is effective.
