Abstract

Abstract : The detection and subsequent correction of drift in an analytical signal occurring during the course of an analysis is a common problem in analytical chemistry. In this paper, a solution to this problem is presented in the form of an extension to the theory of the Generalized Standard Addition Method (GSAM), a method currently used to simultaneously correct for matrix effects and interferences in multicomponent analysis.
