Abstract
Salary data are reported from a survey of hospitality educator compensation sponsored by International CHRIE. As with the 2008 ICHRIE study, data were collected from many regions of the world (all results presented in US$ for analytical purposes). Comparisons are made between the 2008 and 2012 salary studies and changes are highlighted, most of which are discussed in light of the deep, worldwide recession that occurred during that time period. Data are presented by faculty rank, gender and type of institution, among other variables.
