Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical value of ultramicro-percutaneous nephroscopy and flexible ureteroscope in the treatment of kidney stones with diameter of 2-3 cm and high CT value. Methods A total of 50 cases of renal calculi from January 2018 to October 2018 in Luoyang Central Hospital Affiliated to Zhengzhou University were selected and divided into two groups, with 25 cases in each group. The patients with renal calculi in the study group were treated with super-mini percutaneous nephroscopy and the patients with renal calculi in the control group were treated with ureteroscopic surgery. Results The operation time and postoperative hospitalization time in the study group were significantly shorter than those in the control group. The stone clearance rate in the study group (100.00%) was higher than that in the control group (80.00%, P<0.05). The incidence of postoperative adverse reactions in the study group (12.00%) was lower than that in the control group (36.0%, P<0.05). Conclusions Ultrasound percutaneous nephroscopy is effective and safe in the treatment of kidney stones with diameter of 2-3 cm and high CT value. Key words: Kidney stone; Flexible ureteroscope; Super-mini percutaneous nephroscope; Stone diameter; High CT value
