Abstract
Conformal Cooling Channel (CCC) is a new method for cooling in Injection Molding, which allows full freedom to designers. Which comes with the improvement of cooling systems over traditional such as straight drilled cooling channel(SDCC). The current papers deals with some of common problems in Traditional cooling systems such as warpage, cycle time and quality of part. These problems are very tough to solve in conventional cooling systems, to overcome these Conformal cooling channel techniques are used.In the current work the comparison of Straight drilled cooling system to conformal cooling system for battery casing with various cooling channel shapes were analyzed and optimal one is proposed.
