Abstract

This paper addresses the three receivers in multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) systems based on the different criteria which are matched filtering (MF), zero-forcing (ZF) and minimum mean square error (MMSE). The baseband system model of multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) systems is built up. The receivers do not take extra measures to mitigate the multiuser interference (MUI) and directly process the received signal according to the different criteria. Simulations show that the performance of receivers has relation to the number of receive antennas. The MMSE receiver outperforms the other two receivers and the ZF receiver is better than the MF receiver only when the number of the receive antennas is more than one.
