Abstract
In the context of blended learning, it becomes relevant to search for the optimal ratio of theoretical and practical training using computer simulations and manual calculations. The author gives the results of the corresponding analysis on the example of studying the academic course of probability theory and mathematical statistics. The target audience for this article are university teachers and moderators of online courses, although high school teachers and graduates of pedagogical universities may also be interested in reading due to the appearance of elements of probability theory and mathematical statistics in the school mathematics course.
