Introduction

Tourism is one of the sectors that offer the most significant contribution to the economic development of countries. It provides income and jobs to a region, while impacting different related industries (Martin et al, 2007). Internet tourism research has a variety of thrusts involving both theory and practice (Cho and Fesenmaier, 2001; Zins, 2007). Since the launch of commercial Internet applications in the early 1990s, many researchers have noted the potential of the World Wide Web in business, and advocated incorporating the Internet into the tourism industry The rapid development of information technology in general and the Internet in particular has dramatically changed the tourism industry (Ho and Lee, 2007)
