Abstract
Gait characteristics are typically used to confirm the movement status of healthy subjects and patients with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS). However, little research has focused on comparing the foot pressure and center of pressure (COP) of healthy subjects and AIS patients. This brief review thus compares foot pressure between healthy subjects and AIS patients and analyzes the resulting data according to variables such as the different parts of the foot for health science research.
