Abstract

Objective To observe the effects of bicyclol combined with polyunsaturated phosphatidylcholine in the treatment of non-alcoholic fatty hepatitis. Methods 80 patients with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis patients were randomly divided into treatment group (40 cases) and control group (40 cases). On the basis of diet control and adequate exercise, the treatment group was given united bicyclol polyene phosphatidylcholine and the control group was given ursodeoxycholic acid. All the patients were treated for 12 weeks. Results The total effective rate in treatment group was 85.0%(34/40), the rate was 55.0% (22/40)in control group, and there was statistical difference between the two groups( x2 = 8.5, P < 0.01 ). In treatment group, ALT, AST, TG, TC decreased significantly compared to those in control group(t=2.13, 3.36, 5.00, 4.45, P<0.05).Conclusions Bicyclol combiined with polyunsaturated phosphatidylcholine for nonalcoholic steatohepatitis therapy is effective and worthy for clinical application. Key words: Fatty liver; Bicyclol; Polyene phosphatidylcholine; Ursodeoxycholic acid
