Abstract
Soil-Cement Deep Mixing Column (CDM) due to the low strength of the material, so material failure often occurring at the top of the column. The PF is a type of CDM with a reasonably variable shape, suitable for stress transmission in the soil to be able to carry the load deeper. This article compares the working of the PF and CDM by using the finite element method to see clearly the advantages of the DF column through changing the cross section.
