Abstract

Along with the increasing communication between Chinese stomatology educators and colleagues abroad, the bilateral interaction between China and developed countries is getting normalized. In recent years, Guanghua School of Stomatology of Sun Yat-sen University has hosted several groups of exchange students from The United States and The United Kingdom for clinical training. Based on the communication and observation to the senior students from the College of Dentistry, University of Illinois, this article compares and discusses the differences of the training mode and educational idea of stomatology education between China and The United States. We hope to share the experiences with our domestic colleagues in the international exchange student clinical-teaching work.
