Abstract

Objective To investigate the coagulation performance of four hemoperfusion adsorbents which were commonly used in clinical treatments. Methods The partial thromboplastin time (PTT), prothrombin time (PT), fibrinogen (FIB), coagulation time (CT) tests and platelet adhesion test (PAdT) were performed with the methods mentioned in GB/T 16886.4-2003 and GB/T 14233.2-2005. Results The sequence of PTT test results was HA absorbent>RA absorbent>YQ absorbent>MG absorbent. The sequence of PT test results was HA absorbent>YQ absorbent>RA absorbent>MG absorbent. The sequence of FIB test results was HA absorbent>YQ absorbent>RA absorbent>MG absorbent. The CT test results of HA were obviously better than the other absorbents. The sequence of PAdT results was MG absorbent>YQ absorbent>RA absorbent>HA absorbent. Conclusion The results indicated that the HA adsorbent possessed the lowest clotting risk and highest security.
