Abstract

In this paper, the effect of switching surface on sliding mode control of a single phase inverter is studied. Capabilities of three switching surfaces in chattering elimination, THD reduction and steady state error improvement are compared. The performance of these switching surfaces has been investigated through simulation. Simulation results show that after chattering improvement by adding first integral term, adding second integral term is not advisable.
