Abstract
Spectral analysis reveals a certain correspondence between the high-latitude Doppler radar measurements and the frequencies of hidden periodicities found in magnetic observations. With the use of a simple spectral model, this correspondence enables us to estimate indirectly the Doppler frequency shifts inherent in high-latitude magnetic measurements. The relations to high-latitude observations of ultra-low-frequency signals and their possible interpretations are discussed.
