Abstract
The results of measurements with different personal neutron dosimetry systems are presented. This study is part of a broad programme of neutron and gamma dose measurements carried out at four Swiss nuclear power plants. The measurements were made simultaneously with various active and passive systems. The results reported here are those obtained by poly-allyl-diglycol-carbonate (PADC/CR-39), fission-track and bubble detectors. The irradiation positions covered a variety of neutron spectra, neutron-to-photon ratios, and dose equivalent rates. All the measurements were made with a water phantom. Different types/thicknesses of track detector materials were used. The agreement between the results of the dose equivalent rates obtained by the fission-track, bubble and CR-39 detectors was found to be within a statistical uncertainty of ≈± 30%.
