Abstract
The two-spotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae is one of the most important agricultural pests which can attack about 1200 species of plants of which more than 150 are economically important. The pest has the ability to rapidly develop resistant to many important acaricides and this is one of the major obstacles for control of this pest. Nanotechnology is the field of engineering functional systems at the molecular scale and is burgeoning day by day making an impact in all dimensions of human life. In this study we used concentrations of 0.25, 0.75, 1.25, 2.5, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4000 ppm of sulfur nano particles and for each treatment we had 5 replicates in bioassay test we used concentrations of 0.25, 0.75, 1.25, 2.5, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4000 ppm of sulfur nano particles and for each treatment we had 5 replicates in bioassay tests and 10 replicates in greenhouse tests. By using Leaf spray method it had been determined that some concentrations have meaningful effects on spider mites. Finally the data were compared using Completely Randomized Design (CRD).
