Abstract

A compact wideband dual-polarized microstrip antenna element for phased-array antennas is presented. The feeding lines are distributed on two layers, which facilitate the design of complex antenna arrays. The antenna element has a return loss greater than 10 dB, and an isolation between the input ports over 35 dB from 10.7 to 12.6 GHz.
