Abstract

A novel compact size K-band bandpass filter using triangular closed-loop resonators is proposed. By introducing cross-coupling capacitance between the input and output ports of the filter, a transmission zero in the upper band is obtained. The filter has the advantages of compact size with dimensions of 11×8.6 mm and a sharp cutoff frequency response. It also has good passband characteristics, and the return loss is more than 15 dB. The measured results show good agreement with the simulation results.
