Abstract

The article determines the main aspects of language education and motivation forming due to innovative methods. It is stated that educational motivation can be developed by means of communicative technologies in order to provide the intensification of speech-thinking activity, which supports students’ constant motivational readiness to express their attitude to the reality phenomena. It is noted that self-determination theory plays a main role in motivation forming. The methodological basis is self-determination theory proposed psychologists Edward Deci and Richard Ryan. Recommendations are given for the activating methods of self-determination in the context of language education by means of communicative technologies.
