Abstract

Understanding the interaction between active sites plays a key role in dictating reaction mechanisms in heterogeneous catalysis. In this issue of Chem, Tang and co-workers find that remote silver atoms can trigger low-temperature carbon monoxide oxidation via electron conduction, demonstrating that communication between active sites can facilitate heterogeneous catalysis.
