Abstract
The article discusses common interests of Russia and Chi-na in the field of economy and security within the frame-work of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The article highlights the modern Russian-Chinese strategic partner-ship, which became an important factor of stability in the world. Common strategic interests of China and Russia laid the foundations for efficient development of the SCO, wide cooperation and combination of the political and military capacities of Russia and the economic resources of China in order to assert more confidently their global interests and to balance the US influence in the world.
