Co. operates four bank subsidiaries: Commerce Bank, Commerce Bank/Pennsylvania, Commerce Bank/Delaware, and Commerce Bank/North. As of Dec 31 2004, these banks provided a full range of retail and commercial banking services through 319 retail branch offices. Lending services are focused on commercial real estate and commercial and consumer loans to local borrowers. Co. also has securities, investment banking and brokerage activities, and an insurance brokerage agency.
