Abstract

The reported solubility 2,4,6,8,10,12-hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane_1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetrazocane (2HNIW_HMX) co-crystal in methyl acetate + ethanol/1,2-dichloroethane has been evaluated from viewpoint of the thermodynamic solubility determination and solution stability of co-crystals. The solution stability of the co-crystal is a critical point which should be considered in the determination and calculation of thermodynamic parameters.
